ASUS ROG Strix GO 2.4 review, headphones + anti-noise mic: smooth communication and gaming

The convenience of playing with communication supported by AI (Artificial Intelligence) is the mainstay of the ASUS products of this ROG line. Of course, the audio quality is still considered. ASUS introduced an interesting innovation through one of its premium gaming headphone variants, the ASUS ROG STRIX GO 2.4.

One of the cool features these gaming headphones offer is the AI noise canceling microphone. Not only that, these gaming headsets are also fun to take anywhere due to their light weight and the availability of a carrying case in the sales package.

Design and Specifications

The ASUS ROG STRIX GO 2.4 is a professional gaming headset with AI noise canceling microphone, and it is the first wireless gaming headset from ASUS to have 2.4 GHz USB-C dongle connectivity. These headphones are more aimed at the Mobile gamers who play more on their respective smartphones, but are also optimal for those who play often on Nintendo Switch.

The ASUS ROG STRIX GO 2.4’s driver diameter is 40mm, with driver material that uses Neodymium Magnets, 32 ohm impedance with closed headphone type. The microphone of the ASUS ROG STRIX GO 2.4 consists of two types, namely, hidden microphone and detachable microphone. The frequency response of the wired headphones is 10-40,000 Hz, while the wireless response frequency of the headphones is 20-20,000 Hz. For the microphone frequency response, it is 100-8000 Hz with a sensitivity of -54 dB microphone.

ASUS ROG STRIX GO 2.4 uses 3.5mm combo audio jack cable and 2.4GHz USB-C RF Wireless Dongle, and weighs 290 grams.

ASUS ROG STRIX GO 2.4 has a matte black colorway with the ROG logo and writing on the inside and outside of the earbuds. At the top of the headband are also the words “Republic of Gamers”, where the headband of the ASUS ROG STRIX GO 2.4 uses stainless steel material to make it feel stronger but still flexible.

On the right side of the headphones, there is a port for USB-C to recharge the battery, while on the left side there are several configuration buttons for users consisting of:
